The concept of culture was come in to Indian organization just before a decade.
While was reading a book “How Apple changed the world?” I came to know about the culture very clearly. Apple is an organization which has a free culture. Employees are always motivated to do new things in different manner. Steve Jobs inculcated culture of Apple in its employee such way that they are just working for themselves, means intrinsic motivation.
I haven’t finish this book yet so I am don’t know about what kind of magic Steve jobs done on their employee so that they are just working like a (don’t have a word to describe).
But what I think is, it is their cultures which motivate always them do new and innovative things.
Apple has a free culture and many few companies in this world has a free culture because when you are adopting a free culture you don’t need to watch on your employees activity like what they are doing? They are coming on a time or not? But adopting a free culture is not a easy thing.
Apart from Apple, Google has a free culture.
When organization is in a free culture it needs an intrinsic motivated employee. And how to judge whether employee is intrinsic motivated or not from an organization is very difficult?
In India no one organization has a free culture because here people have seen only one culture and that is formalization. In India, most of even don’t know about things like free culture.
But once it adopted is just like flowing river. Then it never stops.
The advantage of free culture is you have no such rules and regulations and better working environment so that even management can do their work and even employee can do their work otherwise in formalized organization we saw most of the time that organization that management is busy in keeping their employee cool and calm from others.
